Sydney Executive Plus: AI Fluency for Directors – Issued by the University of Sydney Business School in partnership with the Australian Institute for Company Directors.
This microcredential introduces artificial intelligence, how it works and its relationship with data, the opportunities and risks associated with AI, and key considerations in developing AI strategy and operations in an organisation.
Over five online modules, participants learn from experts and industry leaders, share and network with other professionals, and complete a final fluency project related to their own organisation.
Students will learn to:
Describe artificial intelligence, including capabilities and limitations.
Articulate ethical principles for deployment of AI.
Identify and develop use cases and transformational AI projects within an organisation.
Understand key features of AI governance and implications for work design.
Engage confidently with all key AI stakeholders inside and outside their organisation.
Completion of the microcredential requires approximately 50 hours of participant effort and involves a final assessment project.
This is not a higher education award and not a qualification recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
